Definition of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome:
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is an number of symptoms that mimic other illnesses. The symptoms resemble those of flu and other viral infections. It is often misdiagnosed as hypochondria, psychosomatic illness or depression because routine medical tests do not detect any problems.
Typical Complaints:
Chronic tiredness, Aching muscles and joints, anxiety, depression, difficulty concentrating, poor memory, fever, headaches, low blood pressure, intestinal problems and pain, irritability, environmental sensitivities, jaundice, loss of appetite, mood swings, muscle spasms, recurrent upper respiratory tract infections, nasal congestion, candidiasis, sensitivity to light and heat, sleep disturbances, night sweats, sore throat, swollen glands and most of all, extreme and often disabling fatigue that doesn’t resolve with bedrest.
With CFS a normal, active level of life is impossible to maintain and the symptoms exceed the normal lethargy associated with a stressful and hardworking lifestyle.
The Candida Relationship to CFS:
When Candida becomes systemic i.e. it buries through the gut wall and enters the blood stream, it leaves tiny holes in the gut wall which then allow product from the bowel into the blood stream. This is what doctors call gut dysbiosis.
This sets our body’s alarm bells ringing as product from the bowel has entered the sterile environment of the blood stream and the risk of contamination becomes the primary focus. In addition to this emergency, the holes also allow tiny food particles from the intestines to pass into the blood which we know can produce food sensitivities, which in turn provoke an inflammatory response in the body.
This response engages the body’s policing system into ridding the offending antigens. Whilst our body continually fights off invading debris and food particles from the bowel it is unable to fend off or deal with any other inflammatory response or invading antigens such as viral or bacterial infections the body may encounter.
The immune system is overwhelmed and unable to cope which results in the unpleasant and debilitating symptoms associated with CFS.
What You Can Do:
In order to stop the transit of product from the bowel to the bloodstream we first need to eradicate the overgrowth of Candida which is responsible for causing the holes in the gut wall.
Secondly we have to repair the gut wall and restore its integrity to stop transit from the bowel and the inflammatory response occurring. The gut is the first line of defence in the immune system and once bowel health is restored the immune system recovers and is able to cope and the symptoms of CFS start to disappear.
After completing Phase One of your Candida Program you can chose to include our specific remedy to help your chronic fatigue. The reason we wait until Phase 1 is that your symptoms may completely disappear just by ridding your body of the overgrowth of Candida. This often happens.
If however, you have any residual symptoms then we advise you take our Specific CFS Remedy available below which may help further.
Step 1: Candida Treatment Program
Step 2: Supplement with our specific CFS Remedy.
