Cure 4 Candida TreatmentThe essential guide to Candida

Fungal Finger / Toe Nail

Definition: The presence of fungi (Candida) under the finger or toe nails or in the nail bed leading to unsightly nails and often removal of nail. Known also as Paronychia.

Typical Complaints: Discoloration, raised horny nails, a white shadow under the nail, loosening of the nail, flaky dead skin coming from under the nail.

Candida relationship: When Candida becomes systemic (it buries through the gut wall and enters the blood stream) it leaves tiny holes in the gut wall which then allow fungus from the bowel into the blood stream. This is what doctors call gut dysbiosis. This sets our body’s alarm bells ringing as a fungus from the bowel has entered the sterile environment of the blood stream and the risk of contamination becomes the primary focus. In addition to this emergency, the holes also allow tiny food particles from the intestines to pass into the blood which we know can produce food sensitivities, which in turn provoke an inflammatory response in the body. The fungi now circulate through the blood stream and one of the only ways out of the system is through the skin. Fungal infections tend to proliferate where it is moist and warm thus the nail bed is a prime area for such infections.

Once the gut problem has been eradicated the body will kill off the fungal nail infection and a healthy nail will grow back.

Healing:First we must eradicate Candida from the gut and the blood stream. Once this has been achieved through our Candida Program we then begin to heal the gut wall thus ceasing the continual leaking of product and fungus from the bowel into the blood stream
