Definition: Irritation deep in the ear canal, sometimes producing a discharge, flaky skin or Inflammation of the skin producing scaling, flaking, thickening, weeping, crusting, colour changing and often itching.
Typical Complaints: Incessant itching deep in the ears which cannot be alleviated by scratching as the irritation is too deep.
Candida relationship: When Candida becomes systemic (it buries through the gut wall and enters the blood stream) it leaves tiny holes in the gut wall which allow product and fungus from the bowel into your sterile blood stream. Once this fungus is circulating through the body it can set up home anywhere it likes. It favours dark moist places and so the ear canal is a perfect breeding ground. Once established it will cause irritation and the shedding of tiny skin particles as it tries to break out. Food particles from the intestines are also able to pass into the blood, which in turn produce food intolerances which can aggravate any underlying skin conditions. The Doctors call this leaky gut syndrome.
Once the problem in the gut is eradicated, the ears/nose will no longer itch.
Healing: First we must eradicate Candida from the gut and the blood stream. Once this has been achieved through our Candida Program we then begin to heal the gut wall thus ceasing the continual leaking of product from the bowel into the blood stream. If the itching is really causing a problem you can use our Eczema Program at the same time as the Candida Program to help clear the skin, thus alleviating the itching.
